red dot award（红点奖）源自德国。red dot是与iF奖齐名的一个工业设计大奖，是世界上知名设计竞赛中最大最有影响的竞赛之一。下面请跟我们一起感受德国红点设计大奖2009年创意家居。以下几款获奖设计作品以真皮制品为主，选材上乘，做工精细，设计新颖别致。简单大方的设计给人营造一种温馨的感觉，让人心之神往，沉醉其中。其令人惊叹之处不仅在于色彩搭配，还在于它们组合的魅力。让我们一起去领略它们的神采和魅力吧！

一、Eros chair

The Eros is a multifunctional chair with a classical and elegant appearance. This look is enhanced by the meticulously manufactured frame of polished stainless steel, which conceals complex construction details within. The steel pipes have a wall thickness of only 1 mm and are assembled without visible welding seams. The pulling tension of approx. 800 kg is taken up by the backrest and the front clasp. The backrest and seating surface are made of weatherproof and non-fading polyester mesh fabric so that the chair can also be used outdoors. When not in use, the Eros, weighing a mere 3.5 kg, can be easily stacked and discreetly put aside. 

二、sempre upholstered furniture

Through its arm- and backrests, which can freely swivel thanks to lock fittings, Sempre can completely change its optics within seconds. Furthermore, it can adapt itself to the most different seat or lounge desires of the user in an instant. The rests are also adjustable, and Sempre has a seat that can be drawn out by 15 cm (seat depth extension from 90 to 105 cm) as well as a fold-out seat with an integrated head part. A housse with a magnetic piping can cover the tubular underframe. Thus, from being elegantly near the ground to being reduced in a modern way virtually all styles can be selected. 

三、D150 Living comfort upholstered furniture

Living comfort combines the aspects of high-tech and aesthetics in one single upholstered piece of furniture thus uniting the spectrum of different situations of everyday life. Continuously adjustable, five-fold partitioned functional components are supplemented by flexibly movable back components. This symbiosis between the upholstered furniture group in L- and U-shape and the functionality of a single armchair is an innovative approach in interior design. The self-supporting frame structure is divided into five segments. Due to this structure all parameters of an upholstered piece of furniture are ergonomically adjustable for the first time - from sitting to lying position. The SyncLink function offers individual motorised adjustments for the head, back, thigh and foot sections. The motors equipped with four sensors are monitored by intelligent microprocessor controls.

四、Daybed upholstered furniture

Daybed is an unobtrusively designed upholstered piece of furniture with three different functions. With its many possibilities it may be used at home and in the office and can easily be transformed into an upholstered couch, a sofa or a relaxing couch. Slight pressure on the arm- or backrest causes it to slide upwards by means of pneumatic gas springs. The couch transforms into a comfortable sofa. To arrive at a relaxing position part of the seating surface is lifted until it snaps in at the ideal angle.

五、Dish Sofa

A simple dish is the basis of the Dish sofa design, in which the elements can in principle be put together to form a never-ending row. What is interesting is that the sofa appears to hover until one recognises that it sits on one or more hemispheres respectively, nevertheless keeping its balance. For this purpose the bottom of the hemispheres has been smoothed slightly so that the sofa sits on an even surface, which is almost invisible at first glance. The lower part of the piece of furniture has a futuristic polyester design.

六、Glooh chair series

The Glooh chair series has been designed for use at home as well as display purposes. The individual elements of this series have a distinct design and match each other. The chairs come with either a powder-coated or a chrome-plated steel frame. Its seat is made of veneered moulded laminated wood with a variety of wood types to choose from. The ergonomically shaped and adjustable backrest gives the chairs a high degree of comfort. They can be stacked easily and match the bar chair and the bar stool as well as the cantilevered version of this series. 

七、Rolf Benz 370 upholstered furniture

The innovative design of the Rolf Benz 370 sofa originated in the reflection on the architecture of sitting. Its details are nicely attuned making it a mobile, versatile and comfortable upholstered piece of furniture, which may also be used in small rooms. The upholstered seat and the backrest are no longer permanently fixed together. The upholstered seat is placed on wheels and is freely movable; sitting, relaxing, working and even sleeping is possible on the upholstered surface measuring 130cm in width. Thus the classic seat-back relation of a sofa no longer exists making way for new extraordinary applications. The creation of an open wooden corpus communicates a new appearance; it constitutes the frame of a movable, voluminous upholstered bench on wheels and allows continuous adjustment of the sitting depth. Back-cushions with a new type of filling provide great stability and with a well-devised fixing system offer comfort in any sitting position. The Sofa 370 is available in two widths (209 and 230cm).

八、Together Sofa

The success of the Together upholstered bench for sitting at a table inspired a new sofa concept. The self-supporting structure with its distinctive sides has been designed as a seemingly floating sofa as well as a spacious corner solution. The backrest has adjustable wings at each end. These can be positioned at an angle to face each other when seated, or in a straight line for lying down to relax or to offer many seating spaces. Together comes in a variety of materials and configurations. The bench's extra depth offers additional space for relaxed sitting or lying down. The range can be completed with archetypal upholstered foot stools and tables.  

九、Circle Sofa

The geometry of the circle
The circle is a simple, elemental shape, and one instinctively attributes it with particular characteristics. It symbolises closed-ness and a feeling of security. Due to its geometric consistency, the circle moreover can provide reliable orientation within a room. Naturally we feel, so to speak, that a circle is round and that it strives again and again to complete its own form. The design of the Circle seating furniture plays with this fundamental shape of the circle and creates surprisingly new configurations by segmenting. The Circle sofa unit is made up of four parts, two of which make up a semicircle; all of which together create a round sculpture. The outline and contour looks highly sculptural and vigorous - and it is left open how one arranges these sofas in a room. Due to the "segmentation" of the circle, the sofas facilitate a great diversity of options and multifunctional solutions as well as interesting sculptural forms and lines. Due to this kind of design, the sofa also challenges the notion of seating itself: persons sitting on the sofa are virtually called upon to find their own position within these circular formations. While the slope of the back facilitates sitting in a comfortable upright position towards the ends, the middle part allows for leaning back in relaxation. Event though the contour may deceive one's perception: the height of the back seat remains constant. Moreover, interesting spatial seating formations can be created. Thus, a closed space consisting of four Circle sofa parts can be opened up for walking around. This arrangement creates its own space, allowing for seating in the inner circle. In the reverse case, there is also the possibility of sitting in the outer circle. The combination of convex and concave shapes results in flowing sculptures in the room. 

十、Black Jack Polstermöbel

Black Jack is a sofa programme in the tradition of cubic shapes, yielding an impression of floating lightness due to the slim chrome-plated metal rod. Even as a larger corner combination, the sofa appears light, adapting itself to modern living room ambiences unobtrusively, yet with a clear message. Its functionality is expressed in variable back elements attachable at different places on the back or armrest, thus turning the sofa into a comfortable couch bed. The adjustment function doesn't require involved mechanics; an intelligently packed magnet system takes care altering shape and form. The basic design idea was to create a sofa, which doesn't require concessions as to line management supporting functionality.
